TCA friend Pastor Stephen Neufeld, www.StephenNeufeld.com, is now available for after-school, in-home tutoring! Many of our students have enjoyed him as their substitute teacher in past years and, he currently teaches Worship Guitar at TCA. A lifelong learner, he is a native English speaker and teaches with a Biblical Worldview in mind! Pastor Neufeld is a longtime youth and family pastor, missionary, worship leader, evangelist, and Bible seminary coordinator. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and a Master of Divinity. He currently serves as interim pastor and worship leader at New Beginnings Church of Roy. He would love to help your student achieve great things!

My name is Mark Malyshev. My specialty is Mathematics, but I have taught ESL as well. In 2021, I graduated from TCC with an Associate of Science, and now I am working towards a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Ever since I was a student at TCA, I have always loved to learn math, and my appreciation for math has only grown. It’s my ultimate goal to impart this love of learning to your students as well.

My name is Tanya Kurkov, and I used to be a student at TCA. As a TCA student, I tutored other students in my EFL class, and this year, I came back to tutor during after-school tutoring hours. I’m comfortable with all ages and subjects except for Math – I prefer to work with K-7.

In 2022 I completed three Associates degrees in Art, Pre-Nursing, and Biology at Highline College. I am an incoming Biomedical Science undergraduate student at UW Tacoma and aspire to one day become an Endocrinologist or Biomedical Engineer. I have been tutoring students of all ages at Stadium High School, Highline College, and TCA in the subjects of math, science, biology, English, psychology, and chemistry since 2019.
