Dear Parents,

If you desire that your son or daughter be provided with an excellent Christian education that prepares him or her for the challenges of modern life, then I believe you’ve come to the right place. Tacoma Christian Academy is dedicated to educating hearts and minds—educating the whole child—for the glory of God. We operate under the conviction that a full education mustengage both the intellect and the spirit.

Because we believe that education begins with the heart, our teachers continually pray for their students as if they were their own children. It is the Lord who transforms hearts and develops character worthy of His Kingdom, so prayer will always be fundamental in our educational endeavors. In the classroom, instructors approach their disciplines from a distinctly Christ-centered perspective. And our emphasis of spiritual formation is enhanced through close partnerships with the churches represented in our student body. Spiritual formation is our highest priority—just ask any student!

Our school offers a unique intellectual atmosphere because of our Slavic cultural and religious heritage. We work to preserve the rigor of traditional Eastern education, but we also affirm an American sense of individuality. Our faculty is comprised of both American and Slavic instructors who expertly maneuver the nuances of our multicultural, bilingual setting. To ensure the excellence and quality of the instruction we provide to our students, we continually review and reform our curricula, teaching methods, and classroom procedures according to research-based best practices. This fusion of proven Eastern and Western European educational traditions serves as a framework for informed and innovative instruction. We are thankful for God’s faithfulness through these years, and we are excited to see how God will continue to bless the intellectual culture of TCA as we seek His face in all things.

May God bless you as you consider God’s desire for your family!
